Assistant Project Manager Required in London
GVR Solutions are currently working alongside a well-established main contractor who are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.
As a business, they cover mainly high-end residential and commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. They are looking for a keen Assistant Project Manager to work alongside their existing Project Manager on schemes across London
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager:
- Support the delivery of projects and assigned work packages.
- Assist with project planning, coordination and delivery activities.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the business.
- Support reporting, risk and issue management, budget tracking and project governance.
- Identify emerging issues and provide recommendations or escalate where required.
- Monitor delivery against agreed time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and best practice.
The Assistant Project Manager must have/be:
- Relevant experience in a Project Management capacity, or professionally educated in a relevant field
- Commercially astute
- A high level of quality control
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Good communication skills as well as the ability to liaise with the client
- Documentation & reporting skills
