Senior Quantity Surveyor required in London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor, based in Central London. They are on the search for an experienced Senior Quantity Manager to join their growing commercial team. They are a fairly young and new business who have rapidly progressed into a reputable contractor within the commercial sector of London.

As a contractor they typically work on Cut and Carve, Fit out and D&B projects in the Commercial, Healthcare and Education sectors with project values up to £20m.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor responsibilities will include:

• Project Management
• Financial Controls
• Working on pre contract and tender stage works
• Post contract works
• Manage contractors and sub-contractors effectively, mitigating abortive time and costs and maximising performance on site
• Maintaining high levels of safety

Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements:

• Must have experience being a Senior Surveyor with in the commercial team within main contracting environment

• Experience working on refurbishment and fit out projects with in London
• Stable career background

• Organised and attentive
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• A degree/HNC in a surveying and commercial management
