GVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable main contractor, based in Colchester. Our client is an £20m turnover main contractor, who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. They work on both the FastTrack fit outs and new build projects.

They operate in the Hospitality, Leisure, Healthcare, Commercial and Leisure sectors with project values ranging from £100K – £5m.

The Quantity Surveyor must have/be:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or construction related courses 
• Minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience working for a main contractor
• Managed complete life cycle of projects including closing out of final accounts
• Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting
• Self-sufficient
• Proven track record of delivering construction projects
• Excellent communication and oral skills
• Stable employment history
• High-performing individual
• Versatile
• Excellent time keeping skills
