Contracts Manager required in Essex
GVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable and very well-established main contractor, based in Essex, who have entered the market for an experienced Refurbishment and Fit out Contracts Manager to join their pre-construction team.
As a Contracts Manager you will:
- Preferably would be ex trade with vast supervision/ management experience working up from site operative.
- Programming experience
- Full contract obligation awareness
- Good client facing candidate
- Lead all negotiations of contracts for construction projects
- Create, review, negotiate and administration of all Contracts, Sub-Contractors, Teaming and Non-Disclosures.
- Contract Negotiations and strategies, including fee/profit objectives
- Settle disputes regarding contract interpretation
- Liaise with management team and be point of contact for internal teams who may have questions regarding contracts.
- Manage and track project finance on an ongoing basis
- Review reports to make sure projects are within the time-frame and budgets
- Identify and ensure compliance with contract terms, from proposal to completion, submitting reports timely.
- Continually refine suppliers cost savings and deliver the best value at all times
- Develop strong relationships with Clients and in-house management
- Identify risks and escalate
The Contracts Manager must have/be:
- Have experience with the Prime Residential Sector
- Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of a Contracts Manager
- Have a stable employment record
- Relevant IT Skills
- Excellent oral communication and written skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Proven track record of liaising with Clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic, deal maker
- Confident, Articulate and a critical thinker
