Working Foreman

Working Foreman required in London and Essex

GVR Solutions are currently looking for a Carpentry based Working Foreman for one of our existing and well established clients. This particular client specialise in fit out, refurbishments and new build projects within London and surrounding areas.

As a Working Foreman you will:

• Co-ordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Report progress to superiors
• Make sure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
• Allocating general and daily responsibilities
• Manage materials and any hired equipment on a daily basis
• Ensure all workers are following blueprints and construction plans
• Supervise and train workers and tradesman
• Resolve problems when they arise

As a Working Foreman you must have/be:

• CSCS & SMSTS or SSSTS
• A detailed knowledge of carpentry 1st and 2nd fix
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and plans
• History of completing projects on time
• Excellent leadership skills
• Organised
• Very driven
• Strong health and safety record
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required
• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks
