GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing commercial building-services contractor operating across Essex, London and the South East.
The company already has an established presence within commercial ductwork and ventilation and is now looking to strengthen its wider HVAC capability with an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer.
Duties Include
- Installing commercial air conditioning systems
- Working with VRV/VRF systems
- Split and multi-split installations
- FCUs and associated HVAC equipment
- System commissioning and testing
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Completing system modifications and remedial works
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications
- Coordinating with project managers and wider site teams
- Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
The successful Air Conditioning Engineer should have:
- Previous commercial air conditioning installation experience
- Category 1 F-Gas qualification
- Strong knowledge of VRV/VRF systems
- Experience with split and multi-split systems
- Good understanding of FCUs and commercial HVAC equipment
- Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable and professional approach
- Comfortable working on construction sites and within live commercial environments
- Experience with AHUs, ventilation systems, ductwork or wider mechanical services would also be highly desirable.
- Experience with manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Toshiba or Panasonic would be advantageous.
