GVR Building Services are currently looking for experienced Carpenters to join a project in Guildford carrying out fire door installation works.
The successful candidates must be confident installing fire doors to a high standard and capable of hanging a minimum of 3 fire doors per day.
Duties
- Carrying out fire door installations
- Hanging a minimum of 3 fire doors per day
- Fitting and adjusting doors accurately
- Working to project specifications and required standards
- Using own tools to complete installations
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area
- Working alongside other trades and site teams
Requirements
- Proven carpentry experience
- Previous fire door installation experience
- Valid CSCS card
- Own tools and PPE
- Able to consistently achieve the required installation output
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good standard of workmanship
Induction Requirements
An online induction must be completed before starting.
Candidates will also need to upload their:
- Working at Height
- Manual Handling
documentation to the Induction Bio site before 10:00am.
