GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for Duct Fitters and Duct Mates for a commercial project in Reading.
We are looking for reliable and experienced candidates to join the project, with work available for a minimum of 3 months.
Duties
Duct Fitters
- General ductwork installation
- Installing and assembling ductwork systems
- Measuring, cutting and fitting ductwork
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Positioning and securing ductwork correctly
- Working alongside other trades on site
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Duct Mates
- Assisting duct fitters with installations
- Moving and preparing materials
- Supporting with the assembly and installation of ductwork
- Assisting with measuring, cutting and positioning materials
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
- Following site health and safety requirements
Requirements
- Previous ductwork/site experience preferred
- Relevant CSCS card where required
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work effectively as part of a site team
- Appropriate PPE
