At GVR Building Services, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Improver to join a specialist fire alarm and security contractor on a self-employed basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Improver to secure up to 4 months of work on a large industrial warehouse project in High Wycombe. The successful Electrical Improver will initially be carrying out VESDA pipe installations before progressing onto 1st and 2nd fix fire alarm installations.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrical Improver with commercial installation experience and a strong work ethic.
As an Electrical Improver, your responsibilities will include:
- Installing VESDA pipework
- Assisting with 1st and 2nd fix fire alarm installations
- Working on large industrial warehouse units
- Following drawings and site specifications
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Following all site health and safety procedures
To be considered for this Electrical Improver role, candidates should have:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Improver
- Experience with 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations
- IPAF Licence
- ECS Card
- Own tools and PPE
- Full UK driving licence preferred (parking available)
- Reliable and professional attitude
