GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Floor Layer to join an upcoming project at Heathrow Airport.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Floor Layer with strong commercial flooring experience to work within a busy aviation environment.
Duties
- Carrying out commercial floor laying works
- Preparing floors and subfloors prior to installation
- Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring accurately
- Installing flooring to drawings and project specifications
- Completing finishing works to a high standard
- Working alongside other trades and site teams
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site and airport Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Floor Layer
- Previous commercial flooring experience
- Valid CSCS card
- Own tools and PPE
- High standard of workmanship
- Reliable and professional approach
- Able to work effectively within a busy site environment
Heathrow Requirements
- DBS check will be required
- Candidates must be able to provide a 5-year employment history
- Previous aviation or airport experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Additional airport security and vetting requirements may apply
