GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a well-established main contractor delivering reactive maintenance and void property works across South East London and Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary to permanent position with a busy contractor working on one of their largest local authority maintenance contracts. The successful Multi Trader will carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance works across occupied and void residential properties.
As a Multi Trader, your responsibilities will include:
- General reactive maintenance and void property repairs
- Roofing repairs
- Basic fabrication works
- Basic electrical repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Masonry repairs
- Basic welding works
- Plumbing repairs
- 2nd fix carpentry
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Following all health and safety procedures
To be considered for this Multi Trader role, you should have:
- Previous experience working as a Multi Trader
- Experience within reactive maintenance or social housing
- Valid Blue CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good all-round trade knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Strong customer service and communication skills
