At GVR Building Services, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join a well-established contractor working across housing association properties throughout Essex, Kent, and South East London.<\/p>\n
This Plumbing & Heating Engineer role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing maintenance team, carrying out a variety of plumbing and heating works within occupied residential properties. The successful Plumbing & Heating Engineer will be responsible for reactive maintenance, wet works, cylinder installations, and fault diagnosis while delivering a high standard of customer service.<\/p>\n
We are looking for a reliable and professional Plumbing & Heating Engineer who can work independently, solve problems efficiently, and maintain excellent standards of workmanship.<\/p>\n
As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Carrying out wet works including power flushing and cylinder installations
\n\u2022 Diagnosing and repairing leaks, taps, toilets, showers, and pipework
\n\u2022 Installing water cylinders, water supply pipes, and waste fittings
\n\u2022 Working within occupied residential properties
\n\u2022 Delivering excellent customer service on every visit
\n\u2022 Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry standards
\n\u2022 Completing repairs and installations efficiently and professionally<\/p>\n
To be considered for this Plumbing & Heating Engineer role, candidates must have:<\/p>\n
\u2022 NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (6089\/6189) or equivalent qualification
\n\u2022 G3 Unvented Certification
\n\u2022 Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points)
\n\u2022 Own tools and PPE
\n\u2022 Strong communication and customer service skills
\n\u2022 Ability to pass enhanced DBS, DVLA, financial, and right-to-work checks
\n\u2022 Experience working within domestic maintenance environments preferred<\/p>\n
