{"id":1316,"date":"2026-09-03T12:05:54","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T12:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/?post_type=job&#038;p=1316"},"modified":"2026-09-03T12:05:54","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T12:05:54","slug":"duct-fitters-duct-mates-reading","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/job\/duct-fitters-duct-mates-reading\/","title":{"rendered":"Duct Fitters &amp; Duct Mates \u2013 Reading"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for Duct Fitters and Duct Mates for a commercial project in Reading.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are looking for reliable and experienced candidates to join the project, with work available for a minimum of 3 months.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Duties<\/h2>\n<h3>Duct Fitters<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>General ductwork installation<\/li>\n<li>Installing and assembling ductwork systems<\/li>\n<li>Measuring, cutting and fitting ductwork<\/li>\n<li>Working from drawings and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Positioning and securing ductwork correctly<\/li>\n<li>Working alongside other trades on site<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Duct Mates<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Assisting duct fitters with installations<\/li>\n<li>Moving and preparing materials<\/li>\n<li>Supporting with the assembly and installation of ductwork<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with measuring, cutting and positioning materials<\/li>\n<li>Keeping work areas clean and organised<\/li>\n<li>Following site health and safety requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Previous ductwork\/site experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Relevant CSCS card where required<\/li>\n<li>Reliable and punctual<\/li>\n<li>Able to work effectively as part of a site team<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate PPE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"job-type":[26,23],"sector":[34,19],"class_list":["post-1316","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry","job-type-full-time","job-type-temporary","sector-construction","sector-mechanical"],"acf":[],"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":{"enabledWorkflows":[]},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/1316","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1316"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job-type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-type?post=1316"},{"taxonomy":"sector","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gvr.solutions\/gvr-building-services\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/sector?post=1316"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
