Carpentry Site Manager Required in West London
GVR Solutions are currently working alongside an existing client of ours who are a specialist Carpentry and Joinery contractor based in Kent who are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their well established team. They have just landed 3 new projects with one of them being in West London.
The project in West London is a refurbishment of an old hospital building so refurbishment experience is essential.
Responsibilities of the Carpentry Site Manager:
- Oversee the day to day running of the site
- Control and implement health and safety on site
- Manage quality control and progressive handovers of installation
- Co-ordinate site activities in line with programme sequence
- Schedule materials and deliveries in adequate time
- Attend progress meetings
- Oversee projects from start through to completion, ensuring works are completed on time
- Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation
- Provide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally
As a Carpentry Site Manager you must have/be:
- Experience as a Site Manager
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Carpentry and Joinery sector
- Ability to work to programmes and deadlines and be flexible to adapt to change.
- Have great attention to detail
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS card holder.
- Demonstrate negotiation and problem solving
- Excellent verbal communication skills
