As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their dynamic team in North West London.
You’ll take ownership of the design process from tender through to delivery, ensuring that technical and aesthetic standards are maintained throughout every stage. Working closely with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams, you’ll coordinate and manage the flow of design information to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the design process for multiple fit out and interior projects.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to translate client briefs into buildable, cost-effective solutions.
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and suppliers to resolve design issues and drive innovation.
- Oversee drawing reviews, approvals, and issue control.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, standards, and company procedures.
- Support pre-construction and tendering with technical input and design solutions.
- Manage design risks, value engineering, and change control processes.
As a Design Manager you must have/be:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager within the interior fit out or construction sector.
- Strong technical background in joinery, drylining, or bespoke interior works.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to lead design meetings and influence stakeholders.
- Proficient in reviewing technical drawings and design documentation.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality and innovation.
