Document Controller required in Duxford
GVR Solutions are currently representing one of the UK’s leading main contractors who are in the market for a Document Controller to join their team.
As a business they have been going for over 70 years and are well known as one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They are seeking a Document Controller to join their team that focuses on a range of New build construction projects in the Education, Hospitality, Industrial, MOJ, Leisure, Science, Commercial and Retail sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project documentation using Viewpoint (4Projects).
- Ensure version control and proper filing of all technical documents and drawings.
- Support the project team in distributing and tracking documents to internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Maintain document control logs and generate regular reports.
- Ensure compliance with company and project-specific procedures.
- Provide training and support to project staff on document control processes and systems
Document Controller Main responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within a main contractor or construction environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Viewpoint (4Projects) is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with construction documentation and terminology.
