GVR Solutions are working with a growing joinery company specialising in high-end office and retail projects. With a reputation for precision craftsmanship and attention to detail, they deliver quality fit-outs from concept through to completion. Based in Essex, they pride themselves on a collaborative team culture and a commitment to excellence in design and execution.
You’ll be responsible for producing accurate drawings, detailed joinery plans, and documentation for manufacturing and installation. Working closely with our designers, project managers and factory team, you’ll play a key role in turning design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed joinery and fit-out drawings using AutoCAD (or similar software)
- Interpret architectural plans and translate them into workshop drawings
- Liaise with designers, project managers, and the production team to resolve technical issues
- Ensure drawings meet specifications, timelines, and company quality standards
- Assist in design development and material selection where required
The Draughtsman must have/be:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Draughtsman within joinery or commercial fit-out
- Proficient in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software)
- Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
