GVR Solutions are working with a respected specialist drylining contractor based in Hackney who deliver high-quality internal finishes, fire-stopping and remediation works across London and the South East. With a growing pipeline of fire-safety projects, they are looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer. The Resident Liaison Officer ensures clear communication, supports resident wellbeing and helps minimize disruption by managing expectations and resolving concerns.

 

Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer:

  • Serve as the main liaison between residents and the site team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Issue timely notifications, updates, and appointment schedules to residents.
  • Organise and attend resident briefings, pre-start visits, and satisfaction surveys.
  • Address resident concerns and complaints with empathy, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant records of resident interactions and feedback.
  • Promote inclusive communication and cultural sensitivity across diverse resident groups.
  • Support health and safety compliance, including site access protocols for residents.
  • Assist in compiling resident-related documentation for the Golden Thread.
  • Ensure all communications align with Building Safety Act requirements.
  • Participate in site meetings to relay resident feedback and support planning.
  • Uphold the company’s values including safety, respect, and inclusivity.

 

The Resident Liaison Officer must have/be:

  • Experience in resident liaison or customer service within housing, construction, or social care sectors
  • Strong client-facing communication; empathetic and professional approach
  • CSCS Card (AQP); First Aid; Fire Safety; Mental Health Awareness
  • Experience maintaining GDPR compliant records and handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work collaboratively with site teams and contractors
  • Basic understanding of site safety protocols (RAMS, PPE) and resident access requirements
  • Organised, reliable, and adaptable; able to manage multiple resident interactions under pressure
