Senior Estimator Required in Ardleigh
GVR Solutions are working with a well-established drylining contractor based in Ardleigh, Essex, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full tendering process from initial enquiry to final submission.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for drylining, partitions, ceilings, and associated works.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules to produce competitive bids.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Attend pre- and post-tender meetings with clients, surveyors, and project teams.
- Provide value engineering and alternative solution proposals where required.
- Work closely with the Commercial Director to support project handovers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Estimator within the drylining or interiors sector.
- Strong knowledge of drylining systems, SFS, MF ceilings, partitions, and associated finishes.
- Proven experience working on residential and commercial tenders.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
