Small works Contracts Manager Croydon
GVR Solutions are representing a reputable main contractor, based in South London, who are in the market for a Small works Contracts Manager to join their team. As a company they undertake refurbishment contracts for Luxury Residential insurance claims.
As the Small works Contracts Manager, you will oversee the companies’ operational duties across all active projects – project sizes range from £50k – £500k and usually amount to around £3m.
The successful candidate will have support from 2 Supervisors/Managers
They operate across London and the Southeast and have offices in Guildford and Greenwich.
They have a sensible approach to flexible working; they are more interested in finding the right person who delivers on their duties.
Duties and tasks include:
- Weekly Reporting
- Procurement – materials, labour, plant etc.
- Liaison between contractor, external consultant and stakeholders.
- Ensuring site teams and ultimately supervisors are managed correctly to maintain high standards
- Finding solutions and working collaboratively with internal and external teams should the be any design changes.
- Projects undertaken include high-end insurance claims in London’s most affluent areas along with small refurbishment and fit out projects.
Requirements for the Small works Contracts Manager:
- 10 years minimum experience within Contracts Management
- Proven experience working within either the High-end Insurance market or the High-end Refurbishment sector
- Strong background in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
