At GVR Building Services, we are currently representing a reputable client who is looking to recruit an experienced Floor Layer for a void property refurbishment project in Gillingham.
This Floor Layer role offers an excellent opportunity to secure 10 weeks of work on a refurbishment project with a well-established contractor. The successful Floor Layer will be carrying out specialist flooring works within residential void properties and must have experience with Cap and Cove flooring installations.
We are seeking a reliable Floor Layer who can work independently, maintain high standards of workmanship, and deliver quality finishes throughout the project.
Duties of the Floor Layer
• Installing Cap and Cove flooring
• Preparing surfaces prior to installation
• Carrying out flooring works within void properties
• Ensuring high-quality finishes across all areas
• Working safely and efficiently as a Floor Layer on site
• Following site health and safety procedures
Requirements for the Floor Layer
• Proven experience as a Floor Layer
• Experience installing Cap and Cove flooring
• Valid Green CSCS Card
• Own tools and PPE
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable and professional approach to work
