At GVR Building Services, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Reactive Maintenance Plumber to join a well-established maintenance team working across South East London.
This Reactive Maintenance Plumber role involves attending domestic and commercial properties to carry out responsive plumbing repairs and maintenance works. The successful Reactive Maintenance Plumber will be confident working independently, diagnosing issues, and delivering high-quality first-time fixes.
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Reactive Maintenance Plumber who can provide excellent customer service while working across occupied and void properties.
As a Reactive Maintenance Plumber, your responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs across residential properties
• Diagnosing and fixing plumbing faults on first visit where possible
• General plumbing maintenance and repair works
• Working in occupied and void properties
• Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard
• Maintaining health and safety compliance on site
To be considered for this Reactive Maintenance Plumber role, candidates must have:
• Proven experience as a Reactive Maintenance Plumber
• Strong domestic and/or commercial plumbing experience
• NVQ or equivalent plumbing qualification preferred
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Own tools and PPE
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
