GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner to join a workshop in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
This Bench Joiner role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to work on the manufacture and assembly of high-quality cabinets and bespoke furniture. The successful Bench Joiner will be experienced in interpreting technical drawings and operating a range of woodworking machinery to produce quality finished products.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Bench Joiner who takes pride in their workmanship and can work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
As a Bench Joiner, your responsibilities will include:
• Manufacturing and assembling cabinets and bespoke furniture
• Measuring and interpreting technical drawings and CAD plans
• Operating panel saws, spindle moulders, CNC machines, edge banders, and routers
• Producing high-quality joinery to specification
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all workshop health and safety procedures
To be considered for this Bench Joiner role, candidates should have:
• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD plans
• Experience operating woodworking machinery including CNC equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
