GVR Building Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Reactive Maintenance Plumber to join a permanent maintenance team covering Dartford, Kent and surrounding areas.
This role will involve attending domestic properties and carrying out a range of reactive plumbing maintenance and repair works while delivering a professional service to customers.
Duties
- Carrying out reactive plumbing maintenance
- Completing domestic plumbing repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing leaks
- Repairing taps, toilets, showers and pipework
- Installing water cylinders
- Installing water supply pipes and waste fittings
- Identifying faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining high health and safety and compliance standards
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 (6089/6189) in Plumbing or equivalent – certificate required
- Full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Previous reactive maintenance experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Right to work in the UK
- Own tools
The role is subject to Enhanced DBS, DVLA, financial background and right-to-work checks.
